Departemen Geofisika FMIPA Unpad S1 Program Studi Geofisika yang dibuka tahun 2010 merupakan salah satu program studi ‘termuda’ di Universitas Padjadjaran. Setelah sebelumnya diadakan visitasi BAN-PT tahun 2017, S1 Program Studi Geofisika pun resmi mendapat akreditasi B sesuai dengan SK No. Hal ini tentunya menjadi berita baik bagi seluruh civitas akademika S1 Geofisika FMIPA Unpad.
